My favorite men's health supplement. I think they are all good and all worth a try, but one product that seems to work for me consistently is K-2. This is a K-2 supplement, with a different chemical name, that has been shown to increase strength, power and size, while reducing fatigue and muscle soreness, and to be a mild anabolic steroid. The ingredient list is rather confusing: Methylated hydroxycitric acid, citrate, magnesium stearate, polyglycerol, vitamin E, magnesium stearate, pyridoxine hydrochloride, potassium chloride, ascorbic acid, sodium hyaluronate, potassium citrate, potassium iodate, aspartame (which I like, it is a sweetener), citric acid, propylene glycol, and zinc oxide. The label also claims to reduce fat, but not protein, which makes me wonder if the supplement is made with an animal product (or is it the protein from fish, eggs or meat?). Anyway, I use K-2 daily.
K-2 is a combination of citrate and potassium citrate, and magnesium stearate, as the supplement is called. I have noticed that the citrate is added to the supplement as a buffer to protect it from the acid and thus preventing it from being too harsh. That is to say, it doesn't make the supplement acidic. But, the magnesium stearate is also used as a buffer, which reduces the acidity of the supplement.
